Old Trafford has been selected as one of only a handful of venues outside of London to be hosting matches in the Olympic Football competition. Countries from all over the world will take part in a total of nine matches at the stadium, including quarter-final and semi-final games. TeamGB men's team will play their first match at Old Trafford on Thursday 26 July 2012. Other matches take place on, Sunday 29th July, Tuesday 31st July and Wednesday 1st August. Quarter finals on Saturday 4th August. Semi finals on Monday 6th August (women's) and Tuesday 7th August (men's).
